About the Black Coating:
The black coating is a silicone ceramic coating designed for exhaust components. It survives base metal temperatures in excess of 1600°F and handles temperatures up to 2000°F for short periods. It’s durable against cyclic heating and cooling and acts as a very effective thermal barrier.
