Warranty Coverage

2-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty Covers engine rebuild kits, premium internal engine components, and select branded items. Duration: 24 months from the date of purchase.

1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty Covers most standard engine components including oil pumps, water pumps, cylinder heads, turbochargers, and injectors. Duration: 12 months from the date of purchase.

6-Month Limited Manufacturer Warranty Covers gasket sets, seals, and wearable items. Duration: 6 months from the date of purchase.

What the Warranty Covers

All warranties are provided by the manufacturer and cover defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper installation. Coverage includes replacement of defective parts with the same or equivalent product at no charge, subject to manufacturer approval. Coverage applies only to parts sold directly by HeavyDutyKits.com.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation, misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, overheating, or abuse. It also excludes failure caused by contaminated fluids, installation in a non-standard application, or racing use. Labor costs, towing, rental vehicles, and any incidental or consequential damages are not covered. Parts modified or altered after purchase, and damage caused by external factors such as accidents, weather, or natural disasters, are also excluded.

Special Notes

Warranty Claim Processing Time: Warranty claims on returned items take 30–60 days, allowing time for inspection and evaluation.

Long Blocks & Short Blocks: These carry a 30-day warranty from the delivery date. Returns and claims must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

Injectors: Warranty coverage is 6 months to 1 year. If an injector fails, the customer must provide an ECM Report and mechanic’s findings. These will be submitted to the manufacturer along with the faulty injectors for testing and inspection. This process takes 30–60 days from the date the manufacturer receives the items.

Important Notes

The warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. The warranty period begins on the original invoice date, not the installation date. No warranty claim will be processed without proof of purchase. The manufacturer may request the defective part be returned for analysis before issuing a replacement or credit. HeavyDutyKits.com reserves the right to deny any warranty claim that does not meet the stated conditions.
