Komatsu Engine Models and Machine Applications

The engine information below comes from the product data for this item. These engine models may be installed across different Komatsu machine families and configurations. A matching engine family is useful for narrowing the search, but the final part selection should also consider the machine model, engine build, serial-number range, component location, and the number on the part being replaced.

• Komatsu engine/application: 6D125E-2
• Komatsu engine/application: S6D125E-2 & SA6D125E-2
• Komatsu engine/application: SAA6D125E-5A/B/C

Why Verify the Komatsu Machine, Engine and Part Number?

Part number 600-825-3151 should be checked before purchase because Komatsu equipment can use visually similar parts that differ by machine series, engine build, production date, serial-number range, mounting arrangement, or system revision. Two Komatsu machines can share an engine family but still require different service components. Comparing the existing part number or a reliable Komatsu parts reference is therefore more dependable than selecting a component only by appearance or a broad engine name.

Before Ordering This Komatsu Part

• Compare part number 600-825-3151 with the existing component or parts reference.
• Confirm the complete Komatsu machine model, including series or configuration when available.
• Confirm the complete Komatsu engine model, including suffixes and build designations.
• Use the machine or engine serial number to narrow the correct production range whenever possible.
• Check component location, connections, mounting points, and surrounding assembly.
• Do not rely on the product photo alone as final fitment confirmation.

Information That Helps Confirm a Komatsu Application

For a more accurate parts match, have the Komatsu machine model, engine model, machine or engine serial number, and the number from the original component available. These details help distinguish between parts that may look similar but were designed for different Komatsu builds or machine configurations.

Application Note: References to Komatsu identify the machine or engine application for which the part is listed. Unless a product listing specifically states otherwise, this wording should not be interpreted as a claim that the item is a genuine OEM Komatsu part.
